A great baseball announcer, [Dave Niehaus](http://blog.seattlepi.com/baseball/archives/228151.asp) passed away yesterday at age 75. Dave was the voice of the Seattle Mariners from 1977 until today. Knew him. Gonna miss him. ---

I have zero selections in. My choices get “the kiss of life”. Life insurance companies read my selections and cut the rates for those I pick. ---

Possibly Ariel Sharon is circling the drain faster and closer in. Still comatose, [he is being moved from a hospital room to his family farm](http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/13/world/middleeast/13sharon.html?src=mv). I can’t even remember if I kept him on this year’s list – I’ve personally kept him alive for years by keeping him on my list. ---
