The Celebrity Death Pool 2010

effin’ FINALLY…um, I mean better late than nev…uh, we’ll miss him,yeah that’s what I mean
(woohoo avoided a goose egg again!)

Still waiting for my goose egg to crack.

Dang… I could have sworn Blake Edwards died several years ago…

It’s not a good month to be called Edwards. I wonder how David Honeyboy Edwards (the only other nominated Edwards) is feeling .

It’s not a good year to be associated with The Great Race. Dorothy Provine (Lily Olay) in April, Tony Curtis (The Great Leslie) in September and director Blake Edwards in December. Peter Falk, you might want to get yourself on some vitamin supplements and put your doctor on speed dial, mmkay?

Morgan Freeman is NOT DEADin a twitter hoax.

I am on a roll! Apparently December is my month - first Elizabeth Edwards and now Blake Edwards. There are still 15 days left! I can pull this off, I just KNOW it!
ETA: Yeah, Pete Doherty I’m looking at you!

Don’t say that!

(Falk would only be my second hit of the year)

That’s right, and as a Cleveland Indians fan I feel kind of bad about it now. :frowning:

Not that I’m going to turn down 8 points of course.

Probably pretty good, seeing as he’s on my list.

Yeah … looks like he is pretty spry for a 95 year old. He has concert dates booked to the end of March 2011.

I know someone mentioned him in the thread for 2011, but Don Van Vliet, aka “Captain Beefheart” has passed away. I don’t know if anyone had him for this year.

I did. I’m not sure I want to play anymore. :frowning:

With a beef heart. how long could he have lasted anyway?

Hat’s off for the Captain!

Okay, maybe for a few more days. I just noticed this I missed in March: Winston Churchill (no, not that one; his grandson and member of parliament himself.

And that burst of points scoring moves you into 7th place.

Blues singer Robin Rogers dies at age 52.

48 points down the crapper.

Damnit, she was one of my secret ringers for 2011.

I have lost nearly a third of my 2011 list since Dec. 1. What, people can’t hang on for one last Christmas? Feh. Feh, I say.

Another Cubs player, and the last living player to face Babe Ruth, Phil Cavarretta dead at 94
