The Celebrity Death Pool 2010

The end of another month.

And Betty White is looking better than ever.

He was adopted.
On another note: looks like those w/ Roger Ebert might not receive points this year. It’s been announced that he’s cancer-free and will be appearing on Oprah w/ his wife this week, possibly tomorrow.

Boy! By the Ides of March, I should be out of the hole and maybe in 40th!

Rooting on the Reaper!

And a Cameo on Leno now?!

I do believe that is the highest I have ever scored. Not hard to do, since the is the first year I have actually had 2 people on my list die.

Tied for second… I may asplode from excitement.

Dude, you have bits of Shirley on you…

And as a first timer who is STILL in first place … I am over the moon! But most of my other folks are looking quite healthy so I am savoring this for one last month. It can’t last for long.

Savor and gloat, it is all you can do so early in the year.

I’m honored to be enjoying the company of 126 others.

I’m still in 8th place.

By myself. Not the points I wanted:

Michael Foot has died …RIP

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/8547228.stm

A couple of people had him.

It’s amazing he lived to 96 - he looked frail when Labour leader 30 years ago. I liked him, even though I disagreed with his politics. However, there is no way he was prime minister material and his election as Labour leader shows how out of touch the party was back then - no wonder the Conservatives stayed in power for 18 years.

Ah - one Foot in the grave.

They say he’s doing fine but - Burt Reynolds had quintuple bypass surgery.

Does he still count as a celebrity? His career died some 20 years ago.

So, 26 points for everyone who put Burt Reynodls(if he dies).

46 points for anyone who listed his career in 1990. Good call, folks.

Aagh - beaten to the punch. I came here to state that nobody had chosen “Burt Reynolds’ career, for 46 points.”

I didn’t think you could get points for picking things that were famous for being dead.

For example, I have Don Rickles on my list and he outlived his audience by 35 years.
