The Celebrity Death Pool 2010

I am not grave. In fact, I am giggling as I wonder if you intentionally made me think of The Silence of the Lambs right after the echo of the original post by Hal Briston?

Which was obviously brought to mind by the fact that De Laurentiis produced Hannibal

Yet another giant of Hollywood… that I thought died over 20 years ago

A great baseball announcer, Dave Niehaus passed away yesterday at age 75. Dave was the voice of the Seattle Mariners from 1977 until today.

Knew him. Gonna miss him.

Untimely death averted… or is that porpoises don’t eat ham?

I have zero selections in. My choices get “the kiss of life”. Life insurance companies read my selections and cut the rates for those I pick.

It’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Do not despair. I had a zero batting average my first time.

Too bad you can’t go after old people, and a theme at the same time.

As Amarone mentioned, old guys don’t get you many points.

best line in the article - “The porpoises were unavailable for comment.”

The Great One, Henryk Górecki, dead at 76.

**I was dropping a hint on part of my 2011 list. **

I got an Idea that I think will run the spectrum, and end up being themed, and fittingly themed, as well.

Possibly Ariel Sharon is circling the drain faster and closer in. Still comatose, he is being moved from a hospital room to his family farm.

I can’t even remember if I kept him on this year’s list – I’ve personally kept him alive for years by keeping him on my list.

Does anyone remember when he bought the farm?

He put it on layaway 5 years ago.

I just checked. He’s not on my list this year. He’s a goner for sure.

When do we get the 2011 thread up so we can post our picks? I forget.

It usually goes up the morning of December 1st. (Thanks Amarone! You’re the best!)

Yay! Another person washing his hands of this year’s pool! **

I was treating the 12/1 date as confirmed. Spent some time polishing off my list. I’ve got 21 potential names, and I’m going to second guess the official list population down to the wire.
