I always intend to overhaul my list but wind up pretty much using the previous year’s. For 2011 I’ve swapped Roger Ebert out for Ariel Sharon, and filled the vacancy left by George Steinbrenner with Mathias Rust. Rust is the pilot who landed his plane in Red Square in 1987; I don’t have any inside news about his health, but I happened to read his Wikipedia article and he’s a real nutjob, so what the hell.
