[Eunice Sanborn](http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/afterword/2011/01/woman-cited-as-the-worlds-oldest-person-dies-at-114.html), who had been recognized as the world’s oldest living person, has died at the age of 114. The title passes (however temporarily) to Besse Cooper, who was born in August 1896, about one month after Sanborn. ---

Zsa Zsa is back in the hospital and will probably give up another leg only to go home and live on, mocking us all. Next she’ll go back into the hospital and lose an arm, and still live. She’ll lose the other arm not too long after that. Eventially she’ll have to give up her torso as well. But then she’ll stop while she’s a head. ---

I’ve argued before that there should be partial points for amputation or dismemberment. But it went nowhere. ---

We obviously need a “Weenie Pool” where we can pick who has an amputation, weight loss or pedicure. 🙂 ---

I don’t think you can say the same thing about weight loss – well, maybe liposuction… But I’m reasonable; for instance I don’t think having a kidney or lung removed constitutes enough of a loss, by volume alone. But an arm or a leg is a hefty piece of meat. ---
