No link found but Frank Chirkinian, long time sports producer at CBS, died earlier today at age 8. Cancer. Noted mainly for his work at the Masters, Father of Televised Golf. He had a cameo in _Tin Cup_. I had on a list I was compiling early last year. Lost the list. ---

In case anyone was alarmed by reports of Aretha Franklin’s poor health, rest assured.
