For you comic fans out there, Gene Colan passed away [http://www.newsarama.com/comics/gene-colan-dead-at-84-110623.html](http://www.newsarama.com/comics/gene-colan-dead-at-84-110623.html) Tomb of Dracula was always one of my favorite series - for me HIS was the definitive Dracula. I had never heard of the character before I picked up the comic when I was around 6 or 7. I just fell in love with the art. ---

Good thing this was: (1) not a celebrity death (2) first death was end of year (3) Hi Opal (4) 2nd death was at the beginning of a new year or else we have to have a ruling! those deaths that straddle two years can really mess up a ghoulish pool. ---
