[George Hendry](http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/27/sports/george-hendry-a-young-and-old-table-tennis-master-dies-at-90.html), Former Table Tennis Champ, pings no longer, age 90. Darren Rovell of CNBC tweets that George received $25/month and free cereal for his appearance on a Wheaties box in 1958. Free cereal? Now that is an annuity! Reading the article, Table Tennis changed the net height from 6.75" to 6" in 1934 in order to “add excitement” to the game. If you say it out loud, it sounds funnier and funnier. (Something that Cliff Clavin might say at Cheers.) Who knew that Ping Pong was one of the first sports to change rules to make their sport more exciting. ---
