This is my first submission, after having lurked in the pool for three or four years. I think I stumbled on a direct line to the nearly departed while watching _The Larry Sanders Show_ on Netflix. This show is an endless 1990s nostalgia parade of “Whatever happened to her?” and “Is he still alive?” cameos. This, then, is a themed list – all of my entries appeared as show guests or fictionalized versions of themselves on that program. George Segal - actor Vendela Kirsebom - model Brett Butler - actress/comedian Angie Dickinson - actress Laura Leighton - actress Rosey Grier - former NFL player, body donor for Ray Milland’s head Anne-Marie Johnson - actress Shawn Colvin - musician Kip Adotta - comedian Bobcat Goldthwait - comedian Mary Gross - comedian Jerry Stiller - comedian Harvey Fierstein - actor/playwright Alternates (fittingly, a sub-theme of people who were notably bumped from the show): Jeff Cesario - comedian Ryan O’Neal - actor Roseanne Barr - actress/comedian Forgive me if my theme is unoriginal, as it seemed so obvious after I saw Gene Siskel, John Ritter and Warren Zevon as guests on the same episode a few days ago (not to mention mulitple appearances by Bruno Kirby) but I didn’t find any mention of it when I searched the past years’ pools.
