**[Former Texas football coach Royal dies at 88](http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/chi-former-texas-coach-darrell-royal-dies-20121107,0,3828491.story)** The legendary coach, who was 32 when he took the Texas job, compiled a 167-47-5 record in his 20 seasons with the Longhorns and won three national championships and 11 Southwest Conference titles. His record during that span was the best in college football. ---

Only when you add in Bryant’s entire coaching career does his win-loss record come down to Royal’s record. But, we’re talking Texas, so … 😃 ---

Keep in mind anyone can make and sell a snack that’s identical to a twinkie. The only thing Hostess has to sell is the right to call your snack cake a twinkie. Granted, brand name recognition is worth something, especially with all the publicity the “death of twinkies” is currently getting. Some other corporation will very likely buy the name from Hostess and start an ad campaign announcing they “saved the twinkie”. ---
