Well, so far, I’m a wash. My list apparently bestows immortality. I’m going to play them next year and send them all a bill for services rendered. ---

Okay, after my last post I decided to post current standings for all players. It’s not the end of the month yet, but pretty soon I’ll be toting up the choices for 2013, and an extra posting of standings will give folks a chance to double check my work while I am busy with two threads. 1 Registered at Last 356 9 1 2 CAMJAY77 274 7 0 3 Walkabout 242 6 1 4 Captain Klutz 240 6 2 5 MsWhatsit 225 6 0 6 Randy Seltzer 214 6 1 7 zoog 213 5 1 8 GIGObuster 211 6 1 9 Nurse Carmen 210 5 1 10 phungi 207 6 1 11 Captain Lance Murdoch 191 5 0 12 Wheelz 178 5 0 13 carnivorousplant 167 5 0 14 Hal Briston 163 5 0 14 Shirley Ujest 163 5 0 14 Squonk 163 5 0 14 Tom Scud 163 5 0 18 Fear Itself 160 4 0 19 5 time champ 157 4 0 20 Loach 152 5 1 21 42fish 148 5 0 22 Jack Batty 139 5 0 23 Baker 137 4 0 24 Tit Whistle 136 4 0 25 Rico 127 5 0 26 It’s Not Rocket Surgery! 123 4 0 26 notfrommensa 123 4 0 28 Eliahna 120 3 0 28 Mahaloth 120 4 0 30 Tamex 106 5 0 31 anyrose 96 3 0 31 Duckster 96 4 0 33 Sarabellum 93 3 0 34 pohjonen 90 2 0 34 Quarter Lane 90 4 0 36 Sternvogel 88 5 0 37 critter42 85 4 0 38 Dusty Rose 83 3 0 39 appleciders 82 3 0 39 Dolores Reborn 82 3 1 39 Drain Bead 82 3 0 39 Tristan 82 3 0 43 VunderBob 81 2 0 44 cheldie 80 3 0 44 D N T 80 4 0 44 Jeep’s Phoenix 80 3 0 44 J-P L 80 3 0 44 Kitten Mitten 80 3 0 44 Kolak of Twilo 80 3 0 44 kunilou 80 3 0 51 Little Nemo 75 3 0 52 candide 74 3 0 53 BACI 71 2 0 53 cadolphin 71 3 0 55 HappyLendervedder 69 3 1 56 Andrew 21 67 3 1 56 Borborygmi 67 2 0 58 a35362 65 2 0 58 amarinth 65 2 0 58 booklover 65 2 0 58 Boyo Jim 65 2 0 58 Dung Beetle 65 2 0 58 Gleena 65 2 0 58 Monstera deliciosa 65 2 0 58 Mustardseed 65 2 0 58 superbia-acedia 65 2 0 58 swampbear 65 2 0 68 Duke 60 3 0 69 Dr. Girlfriend 58 2 0 70 Antigen 56 2 0 70 imthjckaz 56 2 0 72 clipper 53 2 0 72 Labtrash 53 2 1 74 Tangent 50 3 0 75 malkavia 45 2 0 76 Mean Mr. Mustard 43 1 0 77 Eleanor of Aquitaine 42 2 0 77 The Vorlon 42 2 0 79 Bewildebeest 38 1 0 79 cugel 38 1 0 79 Maus Magill 38 1 0 79 meghan 38 1 0 79 Mona Lott 38 1 0 79 Nefarious Chipmunk 38 1 0 79 rachelellogram 38 1 0 79 SpazCat 38 1 0 87 Spoiler Virgin 37 2 2 87 twickster 37 1 1 89 arnesw 34 2 0 90 Long Time First Time 33 2 0 90 Lsura 33 2 0 92 sigmagirl 30 3 1 93 anactoria 27 1 0 93 Avarie537 27 1 0 93 cardboardbox 27 1 0 93 freckafree 27 1 0 93 lel 27 1 0 93 Small Hen 27 1 0 93 The Librarian 27 1 0 93 tygre 27 1 0 101 etv 26 2 0 102 Johnny L.A. 24 2 0 103 drastic quench 23 2 0 104 audit1 21 1 0 104 Idle Thoughts 21 3 0 106 BornTek 18 1 0 106 missred 18 1 0 106 Paul in Qatar 18 1 0 106 rucciface 18 1 0 106 tarragon 18 1 0 111 Dennis Arthur PERRETT 16 1 0 112 Auntie Pam 15 1 0 112 chizzuk 15 1 0 112 Enuma Elish 15 1 0 112 Hockey Monkey 15 1 0 112 MOIDALIZE 15 1 0 112 not what you’d expect 15 1 0 112 Spiff 15 1 0 113 BobLibDem 14 1 0 113 tim-n-va 14 1 0 121 Premislaus 11 1 1 122 Crown Prince of Irony 10 1 0 123 garygnu 9 1 0 123 Paul Parkhead 9 1 0 125 smithsb 8 1 0 126 zamboniracer 7 1 0 127 Zagalejo 5 1 0 ---

Which brings up another question… do we have a solid definition of what constitutes “death”. Apparently this guy has been brain dead for several days, but his body functions are maintained on a respirator. Also, has anybody seen an EEG of Ariel Sharon? And isn’t Walt Disney’s head on ice somewhere, waiting for revival? What happens to future Death Pools when someone is brought back? Won’t _someone_ think us poor Death Poolers and ban this heinous practice of sustaining life past December 31? ---
