[Iowa State icon Johnny Orr dies at 86](http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/24393339/iowa-state-icon-johnny-orr-dies-at-86) Orr coached 29 seasons at the Division I level – first at UMass, then at Michigan and finally at Iowa State until he retired in 1994. His career record was 466-346. He made four Sweet 16s and led Michigan to the national title game in 1976. Still 2013 in Chicago land.? ---

Well folks, the results are in. The winner of the 2013 Death Pool is **CAMJAY77** , with 385 points! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Ten deaths, and two of them unique. **Registered at Last** also had ten deaths, but those picks averaged somewhat older, garnering fewer points. However, **CAMJAY77** and **Registered at Last** will share the “Quantity, not Quality” award, for having the most deaths regardless of points, at ten deaths each. **CAMJAY77** also wins the “Robbing the Cradle” Award, for the youngest celebrity death. Chris Snider was 29 when he passed. **Cumbrian** wins the “Opening Kickoff” award, for Christopher Martin-Jenkins, who died on January 1, 2013. The “Final Hours” award goes to **Boozahol Squid, P. I.** for their selection of Mikhail Kalashnikov, who died on December 23rd. Only six points, but hey! **ataraxy22** is the winner of the “Inside Track with the Grim Reaper” award, for the most unique picks, **ataraxy22** had three unique picks that garnered points. Themed list players didn’t do so well this year. For themed lists, the poster with the most points, 60, was **anyrose**. A good time was had by all. I‘ll just walk away, humming my favorite tune. https://www.youtube.com/embed/DbHxh2NOJIw?feature=oembed&wmode=opaque&list=PLE76661567C22B3DE 1 CAMJAY77 385 10 2 2 Registered at Last 335 10 1 3 Fear Itself 278 6 2 4 phungi 270 7 2 5 zoog 192 5 1 6 Ms Whatsit 181 6 1 7 CowPatty 155 4 1 8 5 time champ 151 6 0 9 Fiendish Astronaut 143 6 1 10 Duckster 141 4 0 11 Captain Klutz 138 4 0 11 carnivorousplant 138 4 1 13 12543 134 4 0 14 Dusty Rose 133 4 0 14 Sarabellum1976 133 4 0 16 Cumbrian 132 4 0 17 jeezums 129 4 1 18 Tangent 121 5 0 19 Walkabout 119 3 0 20 Happy Lendervedder 118 3 0 21 computergeek 108 4 0 21 Tit Whistle 108 4 0 23 bowlergirl 103 3 0 23 It’s Not Rocket Surgery 103 3 0 23 Jack Batty 103 3 0 26 Dung Beetle 100 4 0 27 tarfu 99 4 0 28 VunderBob 95 3 0 28 Wheelz 95 3 0 30 Loach 91 3 0 31 BACI 89 3 0 31 Mahaloth 89 3 0 33 minionkat 88 2 0 34 chargerrich 86 2 0 34 Kolak of Twilo 86 3 0 34 Tamex 86 3 0 37 GIGObuster 84 3 0 38 Shirley Ujest 81 4 0 39 imthjckaz 78 3 0 39 popejt 78 3 0 41 Allecher 75 4 2 42 42fish 73 2 0 42 a35362 73 2 0 42 Captain Lance Murdoch 73 2 0 42 Mona Lott 73 2 0 42 Squonk 73 2 0 47 Hoopy Frood 72 2 0 47 irritant 72 2 0 47 J-P L 72 2 0 47 Little Nemo 72 2 0 47 Suburban Plankton 72 2 0 52 cazwhatever 70 2 0 53 Mehitabel 67 3 0 54 MadTheSwine 66 2 0 55 booklover 64 2 0 56 ftfu 62 2 0 57 Boozahol Squid, P.I. 61 3 1 57 Dolores Reborn 61 2 0 59 anyrose 60 3 0 59 santorum 60 3 0 61 BobArrgh 55 2 0 61 Cicero 55 2 0 61 Monstera deliciosa 55 2 0 61 Quartz 55 2 0 65 Chimera 47 2 0 65 Disheavel 47 2 0 65 Jeep’s Phoenix 47 2 0 65 Kalea 47 2 0 65 Long Time First Time 47 2 0 65 Premislaus 47 2 0 71 Eleanor of Aquitaine 43 2 0 72 Andrew21 42 5 1 72 appleciders 42 1 0 72 Bewildebeest 42 1 0 72 Boxermom 42 1 0 72 Enuma Elish 42 1 0 72 Hockey Monkey 42 1 0 72 Library1900 42 1 0 72 Mustardseed 42 1 0 72 orderfire 42 1 0 72 Qin Shi Huangdi 42 1 0 72 RandMcnally 42 1 0 72 Rico 42 1 0 72 tarragon918 42 1 0 72 tim-n-va 42 1 0 72 Wallet 42 1 0 87 Sternvogel 41 2 0 88 Clothilde 31 1 0 88 Mean Mr. Mustard 31 1 0 88 pojonen 31 1 0 91 NotherYinzer 30 1 0 91 rucciface 30 1 0 91 Small Hen 30 1 0 91 Spoiler Virgin 30 1 0 95 Spiff 29 1 0 96 Maus Magill 27 2 0 97 Eliahna 26 2 2 98 ataraxy22 24 4 3 98 Borborygmi 24 1 0 98 NurseCarmen 24 1 0 101 garygnu 23 2 0 102 guylevesque 21 2 2 103 gwendee 19 1 0 103 Lok 19 1 0 103 missred 19 1 0 103 Spazcat 19 2 1 107 bassett hound 18 2 0 107 D-bear 18 2 0 107 Paul Parkhead 18 2 0 110 For You 13 1 0 110 Johnny L.A. 13 1 0 110 Kasper1014 13 1 0 110 Locrian 13 1 0 110 mdcastleman 13 1 0 110 Zeke N.
