I saw a retrospective show of Dr. Who once where one of the Doctors, I think it was Tom Baker, said “Why was everyone so terrified of the Daleks? All you had to do to defeat them was run up a flight of stairs!” Cybermen, now, \*\*those \*\*are scary. ---

Actually, **Spaz** , in the reboot, Daleks have the ability to levitate and therefore ascend stairs. So, they’re scary again. ---

I once built a Dalek out of snow, when we’d had a heavy fall. It was probably about two-thirds real size, with snowballs on the bottom for those lumps, whatever they are. There was also their “toilet plunger”. People driving by slowed down to try and figure out what it was. ---
