Canadian musical icon, [Stompin’ Tom Connors](http://www.ctvnews.ca/entertainment/stompin-tom-connors-dies-at-77-1.1185264)has died at 77. Seems appropriate it was first announced during the [Hockey](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxIJPMVHBDk)Night in Canada broadcast tonight. This one really makes me sad. And not just because he wasn’t on my list ☹ ---
