Sorry if this has been mentioned; I didn’t see Paper Lace’s _The Night Chicago Died_ in a quick scan of the cheese aisle. I remember riding in the car with my parents - both Chicago natives- in the 70s when there were only five stations and families listened to the radio together while they rode around. We all loved the song (how could you not) but my mother would have to mention, _every single time_, that there is no area of Chicago known as “the east side”, because of course the east side is a big ass lake. Today I would probably try to out-pedantic her by saying every location technically has an east side to it, but I know what he meant. “I heard my mama cry. Na na nana na na nana na na na na na na naaaaaaaaaa” ---
