The Great Gazoo
From the Flinstones. I hated him!!

My only match on this question. And I misspelled it!
My original question was going to be “Gazoo or Scrappy Doo – which one sucked ass more?” Actually, it may have been "Gazoo – On a scale of 1-10, rate his suckiness between 11 and 20.

Ah, thanks. Hopefully Delores will call it close enough.

Two more…
Well, kiddoes, gotta run. I’ll be home in about an hour, we should be full by then. Someone notify a mod when we get to 50, please?
I’ll score it then.
Bye!

IMHO that’s only because of the actor who voiced him so foppishly. Throw Bender’s voice on that charcter and you’ve got something watchable.
Scrappy Doo, however . . . ::shudder::
I tried to wait for 50, but dinner and family are calling…

And the winner is ~drumroll~ 42fish again! I think you’re showing your age bracket here, as are you Swampy!
:: flings confetti:: Good job, with 7/10!
We’ll have another tomorrow, that will last all weekend. Thanks for playing all, and thanks tdn for a fun one! Sorry for the quick scoring - y’all can figure out who tied, right?
Night night!
Since the implication, based on several of the questions, is that this feud focuses on the 50s, 60s, and 70s, I feel the need to point out that several of these characters, while indeed quite cool, did not arrive on the scene until at least the 80s:
Sonny Crockett
Zack Morris
ALF
Dr. House
Eric Cartman
Jack Bauer
MacGuyver
Magnum PI
Sam Malone
Spike (from BTVS)
What time are you posting tomorrow’s feud, so I can set my alarm clock?
Mid morning - 10ish central…
Gotta give up the 'puter for the night. Hubby’s home, and he’s a truck driver with no computer access all day long! I have no idea how he survives! See ya!

Congrats to 42fish and you, swampbear for a 2nd place finish.
[QUOTE=Bayard]
Only one other vote for Jim Rockford being cooler than the Fonz? One? That makes me sad.

Bayard, it is my fault. As soon as I read you’re post I went :smack: for missing such an obviously correct choice.

Spiffing, oh, absolutely spiffing.
Well, at least I didn’t come in last place again.
Congrats to the top crew, though. And thanks again to Dolores Reborn and all the very ingenious folks who keep thinking up themes and questions for the Feuds!
anyrose, in my defense, the question said: “4. Name a TV character cooler than the Fonz.” There was no mention of era. Also, while I have heard of Classic Coke and Classic Cars and even Classic Rock, I have never run across the term “classic television”; while 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s shows were referenced in most questions, the annoting cartoon character one said ever. There really wasn’t anything suggesting to me all that much that it had to be a pre-1980 TV character.
Besides, Spike is cooler than anybody. mmmm… Spike…sigh
The Harlem Globetrotters were on Gilligan’s Island?!?
Yes, the Fonz was cool, but he was not the coolest person to ever grace a televisionscreen. i mean the guy is the actual definition of “jumped the shark”.
