I’m currently in San Antonio, with the rains coming down. I’m holding up fine, but the worst of the storm isn’t here yet.

What about all of y’all coastal Texan Dopers? Doin’ fine?

We lost power at about 5:30 in the morning, and it didn’t come back till about 11:30. That was pretty annoying. The wind also broke a tree in our front yard near in half. But otherwise everything here is fine.

Houston didn’t get much, just some heavy rain in the morning. I bought all those candles for nothing!

We had one rain band move through New Orleans yesterday, and then it cleared up. Today it was only upper 80s, cooler than usual, with lovely clear sunshine. Looks like Claudette took all our stormy weather with her temporarily. I can’t say I object to our first day _without_ rain in _at least_ a month.

Another San Antonian. We had heavy rains and wind but nothing really scary. I am a native Florididan so as far as storms go this one seemed like a baby. 🙂

It was really kind of amusing yesterday, listening to the news media try to make an event out of po’ little Claudette.
