According to San Francisco 49ers beat reporter Matt Maiocco, [the 49ers tried to trade for Josh Cribbs](http://blog.pressdemocrat.com/49ers/2010/01/lots-of-questions-to-consider-as-offseason-begins.html) around the trade deadline, but couldn’t reach a deal. Based on their return game problems, I hope they try again.
