Last year was the same. Lost most of my herbs in my container garden due to too much rain. They drowned/rotted. ICK!

_My_ crocusisesis are in full flower, and the daffodils is startin’ to open too! I’d completely forgotten I’d planted 'em, good job they like neglect.

Terribly exciting day, I went and bought shoes  I hates shoe shopping, but I got to the point where I only had a pair of fancy heeled boots, a pair of muddy hiking boots and a pair of jesus sandals. Slightly better than a friend last year, who actually had to borrow a pair of shoes in order to go buy some, because for some reason shoe shops are no keener on barefoot shoppers than clothes shops are on nekkid ones…

NitroQuik tabs?QUOTE]

Long story short, Last year I had 2 episodes of REALY fast heart rate coupled with an arrythmia withi in 6 months of each other. They gave me pills which I never used. Then yesterday I had weird strange episodes of heart trying to do the tango or rhumba, not sure which but, it like, me it ain’t got no rythym. My pills were expired and I was at work. Called refill line and it said:

“Refill will be ready tomorrow after seven but if you REALLY need them sooner press button.” Pressed button.

"Pills will be ready after 7pm today but if you REALLTY want them sooner press button. Pressed button.

“Pills will be ready after 5pm now quit pressing my buttons and go away”

Got pills just in time for my heart stopped trying to do the Macarena. Go figure!

**FCM** that is a switch. Usually they are late and make you wait.

There was a time, when the economy was better, that I had considered expanding my pet sitting to include sitting and waiting for repair men. I got a lot of requests for it and what better job than to sit on your ass watching TV or reading a book waiting for the plumber to show up?
Back then people will willing to pay for it.
I figured out that the woman who has the same name as my ex-client is my cousins ex-wife. I haven’t seen her in something like 25 years. I guess this is what I get for having an unusual last name, people know who I am. It’s always been my goal to marry a Smith or a Jones and become invisible.

The LDS Church believes much the same as the Jewish rabbis, one can hardly be held accountable if they are in such despair as to commit or attempt suicide. And the quotes that some people use in the Bible to condemn suicides don’t even make their case very well. IMHO

Not nearly as much movement in a balloon; much slower movement, too. The vast majority of the flight you are moving at the speed of the wind\*, so there is no breeze. Also, we need almost ideal conditions - inflate & land in \< 10mph winds so we’re not going up in the stuff that can toss a little Cessna about.

- There are different winds at different altitudes; if you’re going vertical & thru a layer, there might be a slight breeze (1-3 mph) until you ‘settle in’ to that layer.

After losing 81 pounds I went to see the knee doctor today. My understanding was that I had a torn meniscus and that he couldn’t operate because I was too fat when I went there originally. Apparently something got lost in translation, though. (This is quite understandable because my last doctor’s appointment was 4 days after Dave passed away.)

It appears to him that the real problem might be damaged cartilage which cannot realistically be fixed (other than replacing my knee) but to be certain he scheduled an MRI. Because I’m an indigent it’s going to take another month to get it done and get the results back. I have very mixed emotions about this but at this point I just have to wait and see.

I know the feeling and maybe the pharmacy. I have a third cousin to WPWS - sometimes for no reason at all my BP and/or heart will just go nuts. I’m talking from something like 116/82 to 160/125 or higher in an instant. Stage One is to drop pressure and back up the heart with the Nitro tabs. Doesn’t happen often at all but when it does it ain’t a pretty feeling.

Got hit hard once when I was out and about. I got my keyring out with my little vacuum bottle of tabs on it but I couldn’t quite open it so I asked this dude near me to unscrew the bottom and hand me one. “Good Lord no! It might blow up!”

Look asswipe, it isn’t exactly that kind of nitro and you could safely beat it with a hammer ----- just do it already! Sheeesh!

Luckily for me a EMT was passing by and overheard the conversation. He cuffed the dude getting him out of the way ---- I bought him a couple beers later.

I hope you’re letting an expert do that. Those things are really dangerous to work on, probably the most so in your house.

\*\*lieu \*\*- we’ve dealt with this before - no freekin’ way we’d attempt it!! It’s another case of the right tool for the job being the checkbook. 😃

We’re home, waiting for the door guy. He was supposed to be here at 2:30. It’s after 3 as I write this. Big surprise, huh? Oh well…

Why do they schedule doctor appointments at a certain time then make you wait an hour before actually seeing the doctor yet threaten to charge you a fee if you show up 30 min after your appointment time?

I actually got here 15min early but I am still sitting here 30 min after my appointment time and haven’t been called back to see the doctor. WTF?

Garage guy just left and our checking account is $395 lighter. He replaced both springs - claims the fitting on the old one wouldn’t mate with the new one. Maybe… Anyway, we’ve got 2 good ones and a year warranty. So there’s that.

Sketties for supper.

\*\*Apes \*\*- it’s a plot! I had the first appointment of the day once, and I still sat waiting for half an hour! I can kinda understand with an OB - I know my baby’s arrival screwed up someone’s appointment. But for a family practice doc at 8 in the morning? No excuse.

\*\*Sticky \*\*- some people are just asses…
