Finally I am home alone with Mrs. Plant v.3.0 during a thunderstorm. She is asleep on the couch, having gone into her Dark Satanic Mill at midnight to do inventory. "Whips, 252, check. Pitchforks, 309, check. Molten lead, 666 gallons… But she is here, there is a thunderstorm, and the big windows of her upstairs living room to watch it from. I hate heights BTW. All those dances sound downright horrible. An aside during my time with the Asylum Street Spankers, they did some dirty versions of the Hokey Pokey, some clean ones as well. We all know which versions **Spidey** likes. They are available on You Tube, IIRC they have a channel. **Jim** ---

\*\*rio \*\*- very cool pics! That isn’t the Carnival Triumph in the background there, is it?? :eek: 😃 We went to the new Longhorn Steakhouse for supper. I was not impressed. I called for call-ahead seating, and they said there was no wait so they wouldn’t take my name. We got there in less than an hour, and the lobby was full - 20 minute wait. Strike one. We were seated within the 20 minutes, and waited 10 minutes for a server. Strike 2. After she took our order, it was fully 15 minutes before our salads arrived, and we weren’t halfway thru the salads when our entrees came. Strike 3. Our drinks got really low and we had to grab our server as she went zipping by. Strike 4. Frankly, I wasn’t all that impressed, and I have no desire to return. I told them as much via on-line survey. At least I didn’t have to do dishes. Thus endeth my day. Glad it’s a short week. ---

Home from men’s night over to the church house. We had a nice crowd tonight. Ok, nice crowd for us bein’ twenty -five. A good time was had by all. Good company. Good food. Good beerverages. We chilled and we grilled. Unofficially we call ourselves “Chill and Grill.” Cool pics **rio**! Though I had fun picturin’ you hangin’ off a bluff in Natchez. 😃 **gotti** I assume this is DH who’s gettin’ all this stuff done. FWIW, y’all are in my thoughts and prayers.
