Daughter is taking my car today because hers has to go into the shop. So both of us drove in today, but shortly, I’ll be headed to the Ford dealership. Then much drawing corrections shall ensue. Good times. Our broken garage door spring will be replaced this afternoon - yay. I wasn’t amused having to scrape ice off my car this morning. Stoopit ice. Stoopit garage door breakage. Ultrablurf. Did not sleep well last night, despite taking a fistful of melatonin before hitting the sheets. Had a weird dream, too, where I was discussing the floorplan of the house we lived in in Detroit with my deceased father, visiting from the afterlife just so he could explain it to me. :dubious: Mind you, we moved out of the joint before my 5th birthday. I have vague memories of the place that are enough to satisfy my curiosity, and I’d rather slide down a 50 foot razorblade into a pool of saltwater before I’d go back to Motown now. ---

Mornin all. Dear weather, please pick a temparture and stick to it. 60 yesterday and 30 today and 60 and rain on Friday make no sense. No love, Jynx p.s. **Jynx** this weather bidness of movin’ from Winter to Spring is no fun. Pine trees here are gettin’ prepared for their annual Spring orgy. When it gets over sixty Amurrkin out little bits of yellow pollen appear. In about three weeks laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge bits of yellow pollen will be everywhere for four to six weeks. ICK! Yeah, My crocuses/crocusi are starting to show and my trees already have buds on them. I would just like to be able to venture out into my back yard with out requiring galoshes and a snorkel. Last year was the same. Lost most of my herbs in my container garden due to too much rain. They drowned/rotted. ICK! ---

I still visit the eastern shore of Merryland as that is where my folks have retired. I do NOT miss the traffic from up there though. ---

I want to bang my head. Several months ago an old pet sitting client called me. I can’t remember why she called. I haven’t seen or heard from her in years as she had moved out of the area years ago. We chatted for a while and she gave me her new number and asked to keep in touch. Shortly afterwards I got a friend request from her on facebook. I saw her pic and thought she looks good and is doing well. From her profile I see she graduated from college and has a good job. From her posts she seems to be really happy. Cool because when I was sitting for her her life was kind of a wreck. A few things kind of confused me in her posts but in all honesty I really don’t pay that much attention. Today I notice we have friends in common and then I see she is friends with two of my cousins and an aunt. I think that is weird because even though the aunt lives nearby the cousins are in two different states. Then I take a closer look at her picture and I realize I have NO FREAKIN IDEA who this woman is. I guess she is a relative? JC on a pogo stick, first someone I don’t know posts pics of me and my family and now I realize I’ve been friends with someone that seems to know me and I have no idea who she is. Isn’t there a thread around here somewhere about blond moments? ---

Lunch time - turkey noodle soup again. \*\*FCD \*\*isn’t interested in eating any of it, so I’m guessing I’ll end up eating the whole batch. Fine by me - I like it and it’s an easy lunch. When I called last night about the garage door repair, we supposedly set it up for after 4 today. The repair guy called \*\*FCD \*\*this morning. Apparently in his world, after 4 = 2:30, so we’ve got to bail out at 2. No biggie, but, dang, if you ask what time I can meet with you, try to stick with that time, mmkay?? Then again, I get to leave early today. 😃 ---

When my son was little, I can’t remember if it was his 4th or 5th birthday, I took an introductory flying lesson just so he could go up in a plane. He loved it, big smile on his face the whole time. By the time we landed I was green. It’s not just the height it’s the movement too. ---
