Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis a very rainy and chilly 37 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 39 and rain. When I say rain, I mean **RAIN!!!**. ICK! Oh well, at least it’s stayin’ above freezin’ which is more than I can say for folks in the northern part of Jawja. Ima wait until it’s good and daylight before I head out this mornin’. May even wait until around eight-thirtyish to head out. That way all the school buses and folks who absolutely have to be at irk at eight will be gone. Sounds like a plan to me! Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification on an ick mornin’ must commence. Happy Hump Day Y’all! No camel today. Consider it my little present. 😃 ---

Looks like anything between 8 and 16 inches of snow for me between midnight tonight and Friday morning. Of course, we’ll probably only have an inch or two by work-time tomorrow, so they’ll be expecting me to come in. I do not know that I will be inclined to comply. ---

Terribly late blurf. Slept in. I had lots of plans for today; doing some gardening, or maybe cycling into town to go shopping… then got woken by the rain blattering against the window. Luckily, my bed was fine with my hanging around another few hours, so I did. I have work doing empty car park patrolling tonight- if I’m not back by 10.30, send the coast guard to look for me. Incidently, my snow still hasn’t arrived- well, there was a bit of light sleet last night, but nothing that stuck. I hope it didn’t get mixed up with more rain in the depot. ---

Happy Hump Day! It’s a cool 23 outside with a high of 30 projected. Got to go to the store today, although not for french toast fixings because french toast is nowhere near the top of the list of things I want to eat. It’s another grumpy morning at the Sah-house. I got a cramp in my leg last night and had trouble sleeping. Not the normal cramp in the calf, but it went down the side of my leg and into my foot. My friends daughter goes in for her plastic surgery today. She’s getting a new nose out of this. I agrees to let hellpup out today but I told her she needs to find another sitter soon. Sah-son needs to carry my laundry up for me. I have to make all those phone calls today, I hate making phone calls. ---

**Nuts** I can’t help with the snow. However, I do have rain to spare. Cold, windy rain. Can rain be windy? Ok, rain and wind. Cold rain and wind. That’s what I have to offer. Lots of it. Take all you want. Really. There’s plenty. I have no irkwise motivation today. My desire is to stay warm and dry. I want to be in my warm, cozy cave in sweatpants, a tshirt, and socks. That would be loverly. Instead, I’m in an orifice. At least it’s warm and dry. Woe. Woe is me. Ain’t it just pitiful! 😃 ---

Good morning, all. Looks like we’re in for only rain tonight. Probably will be the freezing kind, and start at rush hour this afternoon. Sometimes I think this weather is scripted for someone else’s enjoyment. There was snow in the area last night, but south of us on the Outer Banks - saw a clip on the news of a few inches at the Wright Memorial Bridge. ---

I really like the idea that a empty car park/parking lot needs protection. What could happen? Elephants? If it puts £££ in your pockets, tis good enough for me. Mawnin all and Happy Humping Day, now get to it. I am feeling better, almost human even. Lung butter removal in full effect, gross but needed. Elephants, now that gives me an idea. I need to invent an Elephant gun, not the kind that you shoot at Elephants but one that uses Elephants as projectiles. **Swampy** has no defense for that. They have some really really expensive interestin’ stuff in there (which the meanies won’t let me play with), so they’ve got CCTV almost all the way round… almost. All the security systems were designed with the thought of people breaking in however, and there’s no coverage of a section of the car park… The company I work for originally got the contract 'cos some skater kids started hanging around, and they built skate ramps and knocked the rubbish and recycling bins over and generally caused a nuisance in the CCTV dead spot. Plus, despite the really high tech systems in place to control who gets in what room, contractors have left the shutter doors- the ones big enough to drive a large van through- into the main workshop wiiiiide open. I’ve already seen it twice, in the few months I’ve been there. It turns out the company was so neurotic about who goes where that you actually can’t open any of the normal exit doors without a passcard (even the fire door, which I didn’t know was legal), so if everyone else goes home and leaves contractors in, the big shutter doors that can only be controlled from inside are the only way they can get out. It’s genius, I tell ya 😃 ---
