The Christian belief to this day is that Jesus will eventually be reborn, or something to that effect… Well, it’s been about 2000 years, and counting. We’re not exactily living in the stone age anymore. Doesn’t anyone ever wonder what his reaction will be when he gets here? Will he still wear that cotton (or whatever) cloth, and live in a barn? (Wasn’t too sure where to put this, so I just stuck it in this forum. =X) ---

I believe the popular Christian belief (or at least as I was taught growing up) is that he won’t be reborn, but come to Earth as he left. ---

Ahhh the second coming of the Lord. He did promise to return and give us comfort. All the the coming of the anti-christ is also prophesized. I wonder who’ll get here first? ---

Yeah, but He’s only comming to end time. Jesus talked down to the Jews who thought He was there to rule on Earth for 1000 years. When He died and ascended, _suprise suprise_ there was no kingdom, it kinda suprised people, but 3 days later it was established and we’ve been waiting for the end ever since. Biblicly He’s supposed to come in a cloud like He left, but it will be “like a thief in the night” and then will be the almighty day of Judgement. Personally, I dont think the return will come in any of our lifetimes, but it never hurts to be prepared! ---

Obviously, Jesus has kept up with the trends. I mean, he wore some pretty bad ass robes back in the day. Now, he’ll come all dressed in a Versachi (sp?) suit, and plenty of bling-bling. He’ll have gold teeth, too. As for the long hair and beard, it will now be cornrows and goatee. Yeah, he’s coming back. And he’s coming black. ---

do you have a cite to say that a pink unicorn isnt coming back to slay the human race in the year 2040…Oh well I guess your right if you cant disprove something then it must exist
