I don’t think that particular post was unclear, but nevertheless I cleared it up by stating who I was talking about.

You’re lack of understanding has NOTHING to do with that particular post, however, but rather with this one:

I think Hamas firing rockets at military targets, rather than bombing buses would have gotten them more world wide support, and in my mind, would have been a “just war” if there’s ever been one given their treatment by Israel.

Or at least that’s the one you quoted. Explain to me how, from that post, you could possibly get that I believed Hamas was targeting military installations/personnel?

It’s obvious that I’m talking about could haves and would haves.

“Just war” theory was originally a product of Christian theology, but has since become imbedded in general non-sectarian philosophizing about international law.

Not that international law as a concept isn’t problematic in its own right … but not, I think, on sectarian grounds.

By primarily christian countries, it is still a Christian philosophy. At an international law level it is semi-codified in the UN charter but never really followed. E.G. the second gulf war and Afghanistan did not fit the criteria. In this context it is only useful to justify an actor observer bias. It is great justification to commit the ultimate attribution error against both warring parties.

Unless I’m doubling my misunderstandings, the OP wants us to refrain from calling each other out as Biased or being anti-semitic.

It could also be the lack of coffee this morning though. Also, as mentioned above, it’s going to be very hard not to be biased or to have anything to say that would survive not being labeled as biased by others, so meh.
