Let’s assume she was really joking and not just backpedaling furiously. Would this be an example of a real life Poe’s Law? Once you’ve said enough outrageous things, no one can tell whether you mean it anymore. ---

Even if she was joking (which she totally wasn’t), why is a storm that killed 21 people something to joke about? If it was a joke, I don’t get it. “Ha ha, God killed 21 innocent people because he wants billionaires to pay less taxes, ha ha.” Where’s the funny? ---

Last night, after the debate, Bachmann said that the HPV vaccine caused mental retardation, based on a singular claim made by a supporter (name unknown, so Crazy-Eyes said). My conclusion is that people who who consider voting for Bachmann are probably mentally retarded themselves, although as far as I know it’s not hereditary… ---
