I think I posted that stuff earlier in this thread or the last one. Yes, that district is heavily populated with racists and morons. St. Cloud, home to a major party college, has had a long and inglorious history of racist attacks on minority students, especially jews. And come to think of it, I used to know a couple of people that were fairly normal once upon a time, but have gone off the deep end of Glen Beck-Land and I found that they had in fact moved into that area. It seems to be kinda like some strange version of a Lovecraftian New England. There’s probably some major unknown Old One buried under St. Cloud or something like that. ---

Hey, Tinklenberg almost beat her; it was like 43 to 46 percentage points. But then Clark basically got curbstomped which I blame on the fact that Bachmann far far outspent Clark. Also the Tea Party was running really high at the time. ---

Anyone remember the episode of WKRP where the station manager ran for office, made a slam about the other guy being a drunk and, not being able to withdraw from the race, decided to run a campaign designed to make himself lose? One of their tricks was a campaign poster with a completely insane look in his eyes. Michele Bachmann is a living, unintentional version of that poster. ---
