We can tax all Muslims to pay for it because they are all potential terrorists. That might be one tax the Tea Party could get behind. ---

Gingrich, in a struggle to maintain relevance (he was scooped by Palin’s visit to Chickfilla) is coming to Bachey’s defence in an article in [Politico](http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uuid=951202E2-DA73-40EC-B57D-90A846FE6BCE). My favourite part is his insistence on dubbing them “the National Security Five.” About as contrived as the forced quarry thing we have here. The fear is that some skeleton is going to fall out of some closet somewhere giving a shred of legitimacy to the claims. Not _actual_ legitimacy, but just enough to give cover similar to the McCarthy apologists. Terrible shame and a national embarrassment. ---

You guys crack me up. You make it sound as if her name was pulled out of a hat because it sounded foreign. As I mentioned upthread, her mother plays an important role in a sister organization. Not to mention the involvement of her father and brothers. Given the new situation in Egypt, you don’t think its reasonable to take a closer look at her? Amazing. ---
