I’m thinking she won’t be convicted of anything and will likely spend very little time in court. There will be some kind of quiet settlement where she pays an undisclosed fine. ---

I’m aware of civil suits that are settled with no public disclosure of the terms, but this seems to be a criminal matter. Can such a thing be settled privately? ---

I was really enjoying Bachmann’s quiescence since she said she wasn’t going to run again. Sigh, all good things must come to an end. I will be looking forward to reading about the campaign drama as it unfolds. ---

I gotta wonder about him. A ‘converted’ gay man who ran a program to ‘counsel’ other gay men back to being straight. Obviously, visually a gay man, presumably seriously repressed and possibly conflicted. Married to a completely batshit crazy woman who goes deeper down the rabbit hole of sanity with each passing year, and is doing so on a very public stage. And I gotta think that, especially now as her Congressional career is winding down and the crazy keeps ratcheting up, would her psyche be able to withstand the blow if he was caught stepping out with another man? ---
