No, it’s definitely mutual. One would think they would be smart enough to run away from it, and after those first few unpleasant town hall meetings is seemed like they might. But the dark forces have regrouped, and cast more spells to hold the Pubbies in thrall to it. ---

Well, it is official. She’s running for President. I am extremely curious as to how much scrutiny she will face and how she will handle it. Will she handle it better than Palin? (probably) Will she try to moderate her more extreme positions? (no) Will she prepare more so that she doesn’t misspeak so often (maybe). ---

I’m not watching it, but as of 8 this evening, she was one of the people in the NH GOP debate on CNN … ---

Correct. Bachmann was a Senator within Minnesota’s government. She is now plays to a bigger audience. She has said that she will not run for Congress at the same time she is running for President. ---

So if she goes far enough in the primaries, the local Republican party will have come up with a different candidate for her MN Congressional seat and she may end up with no political job at all. Unfortunately, I think she has until July of 2012 to indicate that she will run again, so she could very well wash out of the presidential race before then, and still run for her current position. ---

An interesting stat from a fairly neutral site: “We have checked her 13 times, and seven of her claims to be false and six have been found to be ridiculously false,” PolitiFact editor Bill Adair said.
