I think we better take a look at the crawlspace under Bachmann’s house.

And now JQ Adams is apparently a Founding Father. Similar to Palin and her bell-ringing Paul Revere spin, her supporters are jumping to her defense.

Right now, it appears his main founding role was a private secretary to the rebels minister to Russia in the early 1780s (he was in Europe with his dad, an _actual_ Founding Father. It sounds like maybe dad wanted him out from under foot (“Dad, can I borrow the carriage?”) and shipped him off to Russia.

I mean, impressive for a teen, but hardly “founder” stuff.

Oh, and it came up as she attempted to defend [her statement that the FFs worked tirelessly to abolish slavery](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=606893). JQ is her go-to guy for abolition.

Mildly off topic (well, not entirely), but did anyone catch Kathy Griffin’s latest stand up, _Gurrl Down_?

Apparently, Crazy Eyes’ response was, “That’s a good question, I’ll have to think about that!” [Youtube of Kathy telling the story at a rally.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruqp-B-HhwM)

And [here’s a Hulu clip](http://www.hulu.com/watch/247448/kathy-griffin-confronting-michele-bachmann) of the very end of her bit on it. Honestly, I was laughing hysterically while watching the whole thing- definitely try to catch it on Bravo.

No worries.

If you get history wrong just re-write history to match your version:

> GOP presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann is now getting the Sarah Palin treatment on Wikipedia. In light of Bachmann’s latest historical hiccup, people are trying to edit John Quincy Adam’s Wikipedia page to reflect her recent gaffe. One edit, for example, changes his description from “John Adams was the sixth President of the United States” to “John Adams, a founding father, was the sixth President of the United States.”

You’d think by now she’d have figured out she is a dumbshit and should keep her mouth shut when it comes to uttering anything resembling a fact.

Missed then fired. No appearance required. However, the rule of thumb was that, if you fell asleep, you still had a job until you woke up, and got paid accordingly.

The baggage room upstairs was closed for a few hours every night so the midnight shift supervisor used to climb up the conveyor belt until he was out of sight and nap. One night he overslept. They turned on the conveyor and his arm got messed up in the works. But nobody saw him sleeping so he wasn’t fired. Years later the Chicago Tribune Sunday magazine did a page on him as one of the people who keep Chicago running overnight. His useless arm was because of an “industrial accident.” Which it was, but the accident wouldn’t have happened if he found a different place to nap.

John Quincy, wasn’t he a [founding father](http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/06/28/256227/john-q-adams-wiki-editing/)?

maybe you folks could try applying your same standards to Obama and Biden (or any man). It is common knowledge that the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Her quotes might be a bit distorted and exaggerated, but you either get the cameras attention or you die in politics. There is no such thing as bad publicity and while liberals use her gaffs as rallying points it changes nothing. She has more qualifications to be President than Obama.

Well, lets not forget that she has definite advantages. Obama got his law degree from some piddling college named Hefford or Hoovered…whatever. Michelle got hers from the presitigious law school associated with Oral Roberts University. Now, while it is true that there is no actual documented proof that Obama was denied admission to that eliite training, he still refuses to release any such transcripts.

So you gotta wonder…
