I just finished binge watching season 2 on Hulu. Anyone else want to see the Conners have to deal with COVID19 lockdown? ---

That would actually make for some good plot lines… For example, who in the household would get stimulus checks in a timely manner. ---

I’ve been wondering which shows will do a covid plot line and which will ignore it. The Conners was the first show that came to mind as a likely candidate to address it. ---

I enjoy the show. I guess I have no taste. My main observation is the perfect casting for Darlene’s daughter, Harris. The kid reminds me SO much of Sara Gilbert’s portrayal of Darlene at that age. She’s got the sarcasm and eyeroll and shoulder slump down perfectly. Their facial features are even similar. ~VOW ---

Anyway, I watch the show - I cannot answer why - but it strikes me that virtually every actor who is a carryover from “Roseanne” has forgotten how to perform. It is striking how bad they all are. Even John Goodman, who has been so good, man, in many varied roles in the past. It’s as if they each have an identical twin and we’re watching the non-acting twins trying to carry on. mmm ---
