Some more notes: New Guinea is not a country – it’s divided between Papua New Guinea (the eastern part) and the Indonesian provinces of Papua and West Papua (this area was formerly known as Irian Jaya). Borneo is divided among the country of Brunei, the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak (Malaysia also includes the Malay Peninsula), and the Indonesian portion (Kalimantan). Tahiti is not a country – it’s the main island of French Polynesia. Caledonia is an old name for Scotland. The Pacific “island collectivity” of New Caledonia belongs to France, but a referendum on independence is slated for sometime [between 2014 and 2019](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Caledonia). If I were categorising people by ethnicity I’d put in a separate box for Indian/Pakistani. Also, if the “Asian” category is going to involve India _and_ China it’s waaaay to big!
