Although I have yet to see episode the first of [Breakout Kings (2011)](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1590961/) I did recognize [Lyle the Intern (from Letterman’s show)](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0801051/) in a promotional poster. After confirming that it was indeed Jimmi Simpson I had the idea to see how many other currently busy actors (in movies or TV) got their first exposure in something like a commercial or an even less exalted medium.
Who can you point to in that category?

Yeah, I keep yelling at **Mrs. FtG** everytime he shows up: “Hey, that’s Lyle the Late Show intern!” (E.g., when he was _PotW_ on _House_. Nice gig.)
One of the bridesmaids in Pat Wilson’s [_Bop Girl_ vido](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY-QSGaW9NQ) seems to have [done okay for herself.](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000173/) Best view at 3:16.

Nice find! I have been spending the time since posting the OP trying to find evidence that either [Art LaFleur](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0480869/) or [Troy Evans](http://betweenartandlife.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/troy-evans.jpg) (see [Troy Evans - IMDb](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0263283/) for film/TV works) was in some commercial where he was “professionally speaking” about some laundry product or drain cleaner.
Perhaps [this list](http://www.imdb.com/list/_ICdKNBei9g/) or others like it might help in identifying some of those “that guy” faces you’re trying to remember.
