# The cosmos is messing with me. (baby-related)

Um…D’oh, sorry, yes 4 or 5 weeks post conception. My brain is somewhat fried by the time I finish work.
Yolk sacs and little rice-grainy things are a good sign 5 weeks post LMP! That is exactly what you’re meant to be seeing. Give it 2 weeks and you’ll be amazed at the difference.
Max, at this point HCG rising is good, feeling tired, sick, bloated, weepy and miserable is good. Sore boobs are good… in fact, everything that makes your wife feel crappy but pregnant is a good sign.
Sometimes the emotional/psychological symptoms kick in a little before the physical, so if your wife’s mood is a little off try and reassure her it’s all part of the craziness of pregnancy. Tissues, hugs, footrubs and ice-cream may all be helpful!

Yep, every day it seems she’s more queasy and miserable, and reluctantly she admits that that’s a good sign.
Sore boobs, check. Nausea, check. Restlessness and insomnia, check. No energy, check. Increasing by the day, check. I think we’re on track.
