# The crickets are deafening tonight

A storm came through NH yesterday and took all the crazy hot and humid weather away. It’s now dry and maybe mid-70’s.

The crickets right now are deafening! I actually like the noise, however, I can’t remember them ever being so loud years past.

A campfire would be good tonight…

For sure crickets? The cicadas were so loud here until about 20 mins ago and then they stopped suddenly. Now I just want to yell for the kids to shut up 🙂

I hadn’t noticed until now, but the crickets are making a buttload of noise here outside DC. We also had a hard rain last night, followed by much cooler temps.

Yeah, are you sure it’s crickets? It’s cicadas that are usually the loud ones.
