I’ve only recently truly made the acquaintance of Sir Crunchy, but I must say I like what I see so far. He [selflessly offered](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=89999) to help get me to Chick Dope even though he wouldn’t be able to take us up on the other part of the offer, to make him an honorary chick for the weekend. You’re so right. I mentioned to him about doing this and he said “Oh no, don’t that. Seriously, don’t do it.” About two and and half hours later, I get an email about how he’s been checking the SDMB and not seen the thread. 🙂 Typical Ron with the reverse psychology.
And after all, he’d the only person I’d consider wearing a Cardinals hat for…of course it’s because I lost the bet, a fact he makes sure is fresh in my head at all times. And I won’t weasel out of it, Ron, I promise.
