Bohemian Grove, Elks, Shriners, Freemasons, the list is long. They’re all cut from the same cloth. Basically it’s guys getting together in the ‘secret club house’ and bonding with invented rituals, ceremonies, completely meaningless stuff. Of course, when powerful men get together what they discuss may have more significance, but that’s down to who they are; anything they discuss anywhere may have more significance, that’s what power is about. The dumb rituals and idols have nothing to do with it. Women go for this secret stuff too, at least they did in ancient Rome. Ages ago, I worked as a theater lighting technician. I had one summer job setting up lights for a performance by the Bohemian Club in a wooded area somewhat close to the Stanford linear accelerator. I have no idea why that location was used, as opposed to this notorious location in the North Bay. I didn’t stay for the performances, but my superficial impression was that the event centered around rich and important people putting on a play, probably drinking a lot of expensive wine, and laughing at their powerful friends perform in a production that leaned heavily toward female singing roles. I don’t think they were plotting any world domination that evening; I think they were just snickering at old rich white men singing in falsetto while wearing a dress. I also remember that the kitchen fed us $8 an hour workers excellent lunches and didn’t charge us. That was awesome. ---

Look, if the PTB want to conspire, under circumstances where only a face-to-face meeting will do, they won’t do it at the BG; too many drunks, too many nosy reporters. They’ll meet at somebody’s home, or a nice quiet hotel somewhere. ---

There are no records of conspiracies, no evidence of little meanings and symbols in their activities… in short, there’s no more evidence that something nefarious is going on than that the janitors in my building are conspiring to take over. The fact that important people get together for a meeting in the woods isn’t evidence that they are conspiring for nefarious purposes.
