I suppose the other issue is that not even the Washington Post knows what Trump’s intent is. “Dishonest, deceptive, nefarious, and criminal” is certainly a viable hypothesis, but it isn’t **known** the way the truth or falsehood of the statement is. Especially these days when Trump seems to be less cogent than he was even in his last term. ---

It is very common that when a new airport is built, the government does things like this to pressure the airlines to move to the new facility. The fact those limits went into effect several years ago and trump announced this stupidity now says all we need to know. It’s anti-Latin posturing for the white RW crowd. In the Epstein thread I posited a couple of days ago that trump needs a big bold EO or something to break the current “all Epstein all day” feeding frenzy in RW media. IMO this is that move. ---

A win: A federal judge has blocked part of the Big Ugly Bill, preventing the Trump administration from cutting funding to Planned Parenthood.
