I started this thread before the inauguration with a list of horrors that I thought might happen. I could never have imagined that the actual reality would be 100 times worse as the Orange One rampages literally completely out of control, with the Supreme Court doing virtually nothing to constrain him and Congress doing nothing at all. I’d be fascinated by a glimpse into the delusional bizarro world in which Harris could be perceived as “worse”. ---

Higher diesel costs increase the cost of nearly everything and is a serious drag on the economy. Is it too late at this point to do anything to alter the direction the voters are headed in that amount of time? ---

It won’t stop them from trying. Yesterday Trump announced a new deal for South Korea investing $54 billion into exporting natural gas from Alaska, two days after announcing a new massive steel mill in Iowa. I’m sure it’s only a coincidence that these are two states with closely contested Senate races. ---

What the heck would it take to elicit contrition – even guarded, conditional contrition – from these types? ---
