Maybe this isn’t the thread for this, but Trump’s actions over the last five months have been SO beneficial to Russia, and SO detrimental to the US: assuming this is not permissible, who would even investigate such a thing? The FBI? Congress? A newspaper? ---

Well, we know that any investigation would never come from his own administration, because they seem to want to function as a rubber stamp for him (I use _seem_ because there is the occasional pushback, including from the courts). And anything the press does will be labeled fake news, so… ---

But both of those rely on a willingness to actually do their jobs properly rather than be openly complicit in Trump’s actions, as both are currently doing. ---

This is a real shame. As someone involved in fine chemical manufacturing the CSB provided a lot of important guidance and recommended SOPs. And their youtube channel was fantastic - if you can get 10 year olds excited about chemical process safety your doing a hell of a job. ---
