Well, I guess I learn something every feud. I’ve been to perhaps two backyard BBQs in my entire life, and there were no games played at either. Horseshoes? Really? That reminds me of those books I used to read when I was in 4-6th grade about kids in the 1940s and 50s, what with their air rifles, marbles, slingshots, and whatnot. ---

I’m inclined to give people who just said “move pawn 2 spaces” the benefit of the doubt, since moving the king’s pawn is pretty much the universal “beginner” opening. ---
