Chased Baseball legends at the Otesaga hotel for autographs, Glimmerglass is the a statepark on the North side of the lake. I thought Lake Placid would be the most popular answer. I even searched natty bumppo’s cave on the east Side of the lake. ---

Now that I’ve looked at the other answers - WTF is up with all the “Brooklyn Dodgers” answers for a “defunct” NY team? They aren’t defunct; they just moved (despite what Brooklyn thinks). ---
