That’s…kind of awesome.
This feud is tailored made for WormtheRed. :rolleyes:I can’t wait to see his answers! Hope he plays. Did someone say PIE?

Overall: I sure hope some more westerners check in here. Because I just can’t call #1 a soda, even though I know there are more people in the east and I know that’s what they call it. -
This is situational. I tell my kid to quit dawdling. I tell my friends to quit fucking around. (Or more usually, they tell me that.)

I love this Feud!
Dandelion will stand as an answer. Dandelion clock (wtf??) will stand as another answer. The two main answers kitty-corner and catty-corner are separate.
I totally did not know about the maple bar. What region is that from?
I always thought maple bar’s were fairly commonplace. Almost as surprised to see some who call them eclairs. (An eclair to me is a cream filled puff pastry w/chocolate topping)
Of course- I am not a big fan of the maple bar, as i find the maple topping to be made of nast.
Just for ignorance fighting purposes…

A picture of a maple bar from Portland’s famous Voodoo doughnuts… of the pictures it is the third one down on the left side. (Below the orange marshmallowey thingy and above the cock and balls). I sought out this picture instead of an easier to link to picture- because, well, this is the SDMB, and Voodoo doughnuts actually sells Bacon Maple Bars- so this one has bacon on it. But your standard maple bar would not have the bacon.
Dolores: Dandelion Clock. Puffball is a fungus where I come from, nothing to do with dandelions.
Flapjack means something completely different in the UK, it turns out.

I’ve never heard of, much less eaten a “maple bar” - I had no idea what the item being described even was, which is why I defaulted to eclair…it was the only rectangular pastry I could think of.
ShibbOleth is #42.
