An interesting observation about self repeating fractal patterns: this thread is complaining that whiny assholes derailing threads with their misogyny (either directly or because they complain endlessly about how their misogyny isn’t allowed anymore) are killing the Dope. The thread is derailed by whiny assholes complaining about how they aren’t allowed to be misogynistic… And yet, a certain recent suspension gives me hope. ---

At this point, what can we do other than report things we see as problematic and refuse to engage with trolls to the greatest extent possible? This thread is an excellent example of how easy it is to get sucked into their “me, me, me” schtick. ---

I disagree with him on many religious and political things. But he’s a true Doper in my book. I fondly recall a thread where **Bricker** and a bunch of others debated the Mutant Registration Act. He’s not perfect, but (exept for Cecil Adams) who is? ---
