When there are two girls, together, named Katrina and Rita, and you say, “Hey…you’re both hurricanes,” and they don’t get it. Yes, this actually happened. ---

To the OP I’m on the west coast and my closest family to Hurricane Land is in Oklahoma. So I might not get the joke either. I would get Katrina since that was in the news for several years but I don’t think I’d make the Rita connection. ---
