The delusions of Craigslist sellers (esp. electronics).

I’ve only ever owned a dell laptop (PC wise I’ve tended to build my own), and I think they are just fine.

As for customer service, I am convinced it sucks everywhere.

Why not both?

I followed your link and upped the system to the specs of 750 GB HDD and 22" monitor; the price is $829. So you owe me 130 trillion Zimbabwe dollars.

There was an article in the Washington Post recently about how no one wants to buy a used CRT. Apparently Goodwill only takes them if they are digital ready.

I gave up looking at electronics on Ebay and Craiglist since the majority of the items are overpriced.

Not disagreeing with the general idea, but in this case, if the dog is aggressive and sick, I think it’s probably a good idea to be picky about who takes it on.

My one experience with Dell customer service was fantastic. They diagnosed my monitor as busted over the phone (having me perform the idiot tests like “is it unplugged?”) at 9:00 pm.

The next morning the replacement monitor arrived free of charge at 8:00 am.

That’s less than 12 hours to deliver new hardware from California to Virginia for free.

Can’t complain.
