Wow, that was painfully awkward. Whoever told them to extend time…that was absolutely a bad call. Gave her just enough time to fire up the Bernie Bros – at a time when the crowd was pretty much pacified and chanting against Trump in unison. Unbelievably bad. And now we gotta watch a washed up Paul Simon. ---

Watching PBS, they cut away from Booker to let the pundits pontificate. Mark Shields repeated the old rightie lie that Governor Casey was not allowed to speak at the '92 convention because he was pro-life. He was not allowed to speak because he had not endorsed the Clinton-Gore ticket. The then Mayor or Boston, who had endorsed the ticket and was also pro-life was allowed to speak. Shame on you, Mark. ---
