I’m thinking we should probably stick with Park Tavern as our destination, since it’s a place **Satan** can already find. How will we all know each other? I have five photos up at my [fathom.org](http://fathom.org) profile, but none of them look like me. I shave my head these days. I’m 5’7" and 145 lbs. IRL I answer to “Glenn” as well as “Five.” So, I guess that’s how you’ll know me… ---

Well Satan’s picture is on the People pages so unless he has cut his hair or something I have a fairly good idea what he looks like. I have seen Five before at an earlier Atlanta gathering so I have a fairly good idea what Five(Glenn) looks like. Brian said he would reserve the table under Cecil’s name. I think that is a good idea. I will likely be wearing shorts unless this place is more formal or something (don’t think so). I do not think I have any Star Trek pins or shirts (I know what kind of Trekkie am I?) and I ain’t wearing no pink carnation. Jeffery ---

I just made the reservation to the above restaurant (since nobody came up with an alternative) for six people. It’s for Saturday (tomorrow) at 8PM. It’s on the patio, which means people can smoke if they want to. I don’t care if you smoke - especially since we’re outside, FYI. Drain Bead has roots in Myrtle Beach, and even without her, I go to the HOB to see shows there from time to time. **Satan** and his non-Doper friend Bill were there. **Mjollnir** surprised us and drove down from Columbia, SC. I ( **Five** was there, of course. And **StrTrkr777**? Phooey on you, Jeff! **Mullinator** and newbie **lil\_slim\_jd** also took a pass, so I was the only Atlanta Doper in attendance. But we had a fine time, despite the unseasonably cold weather. A wedding reception had commandeered the interior of the restaurant, so we had to sit on the patio. But at least we were near a pit fire, so that helped. We all ate heartily (especially me, as I had run 17 miles earlier in the day), dished on Dopers and rehashed various threads. Mercifully, we did not discuss the Braves (fuck you, Bill!). I formed a crush on our waitress Jennifer, mainly because she brought me Key lime pie. After three hours or so we called it a night. I’m glad **Mjollnir** hadn’t been drinking, because he was driving back to Columbia that same night. Yeesh! I gave **Satan** and Bill a ride back to their hotel. A good time was had by all, but frankly I was embarrassed by the poor showing by our homeboys. What’s up with that, people? Where’s your Southern hospitality? ---

Granted, my not going did hurt the Atlanta doper showing, but at least I knew I was unable to make it. Mjollnir is the man just for his willingness to drive great distances for these get togethers. So, did ya talk about me. Huh? Huh? ---
