The diagnosis may not be good... need prayers and good thoughts!!

::sending positive thoughts to Rachelle::

I’ll keep you in my prayers

Let us know how you make out, OK?

Thanks so much everyone. Your prayers, thoughts, and support mean a lot even though I still don’t know my diagnosis! Very few of my friends and loved ones know about this. It seems to be easier to share this kind of stuff with everyone here… I don’t get as weepy when I’m typing as I do when I’m trying to tell someone what’s going on. (o.k. so now I’m starting to get choked up at my computer! Great!)

Thanks everyone. I’ll post an update as soon as I know something!

Best wishes, Rachelle.

Good luck, hon! I’ll be sending you good thoughts. Let us know when you hear anything.

Mamma O. just had an ovary removed due to a cyst the size of a grapefruit. God knows what her first gyno was thinking, letting it get that big! :growls:

She’s doing fine, and we both send our sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery and the best of prognoses for you, Rachelle.

Let’s see. I think I have some karma I haven’t used yet, so why don’t I just send some of that over? Hmmm, if I send it in the mail, will you get it in time? Anyway, I wish you and your future children the best of luck in these troubled times.

Thoughts and prayers are with you Rachelle. Good luck.

Rachelle, best wishes to you. Pester those doctors and make sure they tell you everything you need to know. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers; keep us updated as you can!

Good luck Rachelle. Being a woman sucks sometimes huh? Hope all goes well. Best to you and yours.

If it’s any reassurance with the surgery, I had my gall bladder out laproscopically a few years back and it couldn’t have been easier. My wife had hers out the old-fashioned way a few years before by the same surgeon and was laid up much longer than I. Just make sure your surgeon has a few (bunch) of these under his belt, so to speak. The more experience, the better.

You have my prayers that everything turns out well, dear Rachelle. Keep us posted.

Rachelle,

Prayers and good thoughts coming your way. Keep us posted.

My mom had a cyst removed two years ago and she’s doing fine.

Good luck.

Wishing you the best, Rachelle.

I had a close call with a cyst a couple of weeks ago, but I turned out OK. I hope and pray the same happens for you.

Waiting for the results of a test can be the longest hours of your life. Try not to get too stressed out. Hope everything goes smooth.
Love,
Rose

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Good luck!

Oh, Rachelle…I hope you’re okay.

Best of luck, Rachelle, but most of all, don’t assume the worst or worry prematurely. I had a hugongous ovarian cyst removed when I was 16; no problem.

The worry and dread are the worst parts, honestly.

Wishing you comfort,
Veb
